Following a forensic analysis of the client’s historic charges, our water experts attended Wilmslow High School to carry out a full site audit covering all aspects of the sites water, wastewater, and drainage services.
The team quicky identified some irregularities on where the surface water was discharging to, they completed an acoustic and dye test and found the site was split in two. The rear of the site was discharging to balancing ponds, while the surface water at the front of the property discharged to private infrastructure, then a local water course.
We managed to prove the school was being overcharged and the water supplier agreed, offering two years of rebates. We challenged this offer and Wilmslow High School recovered six years of rebates, with total savings exceeding £95,000.
